Originally titled The Wedding Waltz, The Celebration Waltz was commissioned by Michael Macintosh for the wedding of Joy and Michael Macintosh. 
    The piece creates a joyous and warm feeling while being quite challenging for the performers even though it is a two mallet work throughout. Prepare to take some time to get things up to tempo!
    The idea and first complete sketch occurred in only one day which is quite unusual compared to my normal compositional process.
